Chad Groves was born into a motor sports racing family in Prineville, Oregon. As early as the age of five, Chad remembers watching his Dad, Uncle and Grandfather racing at the Madras Speedway. He knew from that tender age, racing was what he wanted to do when he grew up. “I love being at the track with my family. They involved me in all the steps of racing from a very young age. I was part of the team,” recalls Chad.

Chad credits his dad, Mike of Mike’s fence Center & Mike’s Mobile Mix, for introducing and motivating him to motor sports and the business world. After graduating high school, Chad began working toward a degree in diesel mechanics at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. During breaks from his studies, Chad works with the family businesses. Upon achieving his degree, he looks forward to joining his family’s operations and racing full time.

Chad is a well-rounded young man with a passion for going fast, which includes riding Harleys, wake boarding and snowmobiling during winter months. Chad may only be 21 years old but he has numerous races under his belt and has developed the natural racing instincts and abilities required to become a superb driver.
